Had my first tuition lesson today. I think it was the way that I was brought up, I was never pushed to go for tuition, it was never really an option. If I did badly I school, it will never be "I need tuition" but "I need to work harder". My father didn't believe in it. He was afraid that we would sleep in class since it would be taught in tuition. So when I really could not cope with physics even I tried studying, and eventually failed for mid-years, I realized that it was time to break the streak and actually apply for tuition. It wasn't a nice feeling. I felt like such a failure. And I felt guilty telling my father that I needed tuition and asking him to pay. But I'm glad he didn't scold me or anything considering he doesn't believe in it.

It was interesting. Mostly because the teacher was interesting. I regained a little of my interest in physics again. Hope that it is not too late to pull up my grades.

On a lighter note, decided to move back to blogger because I got bored with tumblr. It was just reblogging and reblogging, even though it did inspire me, I wanted something more personal and organized and also to push myself to write more. How's my theme? My edited it from a template that came with blogger. You can barely recognize it from it's original look. I'm quite happy with it, it's so pleasantly clean. As for the url.. ugh. It was so frustrating. Both suiying and sy were taken: 'sy.blogspot.com' How cool is that?? Finally settled on "withalittleflair" after days of thinking. I kid you not. Have been thinking about create this blog for a while now, but never really got around to deciding on the url until my cramps came. Read something online that I should do something that takes my attention away from the pain, and the pain will go away, so I forced myself to sit down and start on this.. so ta-da. Really hope this blog will turn out to be at least slightly interesting.

Wow, excuse my rambling. I'll leave you with Eric Clapton's Layla. I've been listening to it on repeat today. Today seemed to be a day for rock songs. Especially Eric Clapton. He's a genius. But to be fair, if you count the second movement in (which is so so wonderful), it's kind of mash up of rock and blues. Please do at least listen to the second movement (around 4:00) even though it does not involve him actually singing.

Listen to the guitar and then the jazz, swoonnnnn.
